Snuffle ball 18 cm
Description
The sniffle ball is characterized by several features through which it is worth noting. The sniffleball is pieces of fleece joined together to form a lump shaped like a ball. Unlike the olfactory mat, which is flat and lies on the ground, the olfactory ball can roll. This will make the dog even more interested in the olfactory game, as he will have to follow the rolling ball full of treats. The mechanism of this toy is quite similar to the olfactory mat. We put dog treats between tightly woven pieces of material. To get them out, the dog has to sniff inside the ball. When he touches it with his nose, the ball moves. This is an additional difficulty for the animal, so if our dog is quickly discouraged, let's hide the treats not too deep at first. As the ball rolls, they will start to fall out of it on their own, and this will encourage the dog to continue playing.
Let's use the olfactory ball to play together and build a bond with the dog. All you need to do is gently ball the olfactory ball filled with treats to your pet, and he, encouraged by you, will eagerly run after the toy. When playing, be calm and subdued. Here it's not about getting the dog as excited as possible and fetching after the ball. The essence of the game is to get the dog to use its nose as intensely as possible.
Each olfactory ball is made of high-quality fleece. The toy is safe for both puppy, adult dog and senior dog.
How will olfactory toys help?
- If your pet eats too fast
This behavior is not safe, because in extreme cases it can lead to stomach torsion. The olfactory ball can be used as a "bowl" for food - the dog can't see the food, so it has to find it through smell. This calms the dog during the meal and causes the speed of eating to decrease.
- If the dog does not want to eat
Some dogs, are huge non eaters, and this is a great way to get the food he doesn't want to eat from the bowl.
- If he is hyperactive
When your pet, even after the longest walk and playing with a tug, has energy reserves. We are sure that a sniffer ball will be a good solution. Don't have time to learn how to track, or the weather isn't right? You can use the sniffing mat regardless of the weather conditions.
- Dog undergoing treatment
We ourselves know how frustrated we can be during the period of recuperation. Let's make this time pleasant for our dog. Mental play, will quickly tire him out.
- Disabled dog
Disability in a dog does not mean that he loses the will to live - often the opposite is true, and such dogs have a great desire to do something with their human. The advantage of this product is that any dog with a functioning sense of smell can use it.
- Dog senior
Your pet is already retired. Such a senior dog should not be pushed anymore - the days of frantic running and jumping are over. A sniffer ball, is an excellent solution. Who among us has not seen grandma or grandpa solving crossword puzzles? It does not require strength. it does not strain the joints and body. Using the olfactory mat is safe. Our dog is sure to enjoy spending time in this way, relaxing his mind.
Note: The first sessions should be done together with the dog - show him that the treats are hidden and encourage him to look for them quietly. Some people immediately leave the dog alone with the mat and are surprised that it has been destroyed. It's worth spending some time exploring olfactory play together. Be especially careful when teaching your pooch, mainly tugging.
